A Tribute to Sardar Amar Singh Randhawa
21 August 1938 – 9 April 2025

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Sardar Amar Singh Randhawa, a towering figure of strength, humility, and unwavering service to the community, Amar Singh lived a life rooted in values, compassion, and quiet leadership.
A pioneer and founding member of Kelab Aman, he was a familiar face and guiding hand across Malaysia’s sports and welfare circles for decades. To many, he was a mentor, a friend, a guiding light. But to those privileged to know him closely, he was simply “The Lion of Club Aman”—a name that resonated with affection, admiration, and respect.
From his early days at Wearne Brothers to his impactful years in Kelab Aman and MSSSC, Amar Singh’s passion for service transcended roles and titles. Whether serving as Secretary or Treasurer for the Sikh Welfare Society Malaysia, managing major sports venues during the 1998 SUKOM Games, or being part of Malaysia’s proud hockey legacy in the 1970s, his contribution to the sporting and social fabric of this country was profound.
His life was not defined by accolades but by actions—by his steady hand behind the scenes, his tireless dedication, and the countless lives he touched without fanfare. He worked with kings and commoners alike, always grounded, always gracious.
Today, as we say goodbye, we remember a man whose legacy cannot be measured in years alone but in the impact he left behind—on club grounds, on the cricket field, in boardrooms, and in hearts.
Your stories will live on, Amar Uncle. Your wisdom, and the spirit you brought to the Club will be missed dearly.
You have given more than you ever took. Your seva will not be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Lion of the Club, Sardar Amar Singh Randhawa.
You will forever remain in our hearts, our history, and our prayers.
